Beverley Elizabeth Chafe left us peacefully on Monday, February 11, 2019. Beverley was a bright, passionate, lovely woman, always with a cheerful smile or neighbourly grin. Her spirit was as beautiful as the garden that she created and affectionately tended with her long-time partner and best friend, Hugh David Taylor. With a sparkle in her eye and compassion in her heart, she was interested in everyone and unfailingly there for her family and friends---old and new---with a needed hug, an easy laugh or a helping hand. From her birthplace in Winnipeg to her home in Ottawa and through her network of close and extended family and friends around the world, including Hugh David and her children Cynthia, Scott and Elizabeth McDougall and grandchildren, she will be remembered for her unconditional love and warmth.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice---whose care and compassion were superlative---would be welcome.
