I am almost ten and I am homeschooled for grade four. My birthday is February 24th. This year, for my birthday, I'm thinking of wall-climbing and going to the "Victoria Rose" Tea House.

One of my favourite holidays is Halloween. I dressed up as Arwen the elf from "The Lord of the Rings". "The Fellowship of the Rings" is my favourite movie & book. I can't wait until I'm old enough to see "The Two Towers" and "The Return of the King".

My other favourite holiday is Christmas. Christmas is important to me because I get to see a lot of my family and it's a really nice time of year. Twenty-two people are going to be at my house. I wonder if we are going to have to put the Christmas tree in the garage. This year for Christmas, I'm hoping to get a guitar so that I can take lessons.

I like music and dance. I do ballet. Last spring I was in a dance recital. The theme was "underwater". My class were the mermaids.

This summer I took sailing lessons. It was really fun! I earned my "White Sail One" qualification. This summer I also went to my grandparents' cottage on an island on Lac LaRonge, Saskatchewan. We go there every year.

I had a lot of fun this year. I hope that I have the same amount of fun next year, and I hope that you do too!
